12,000 Teacher Interns Jobs is Fake News, Says TSC
The Teachers Service Commission has come out publicly on Tuesday 20th of October 2020, to denounce the advertised 12,000 teacher internship job vacancies as fake news.
The 12,000 TSC October 2020 teacher Internship vacancies had been advertised to be up for grab after an unconfirmed source claimed that the Teachers Service Commission TSC advertised 4,000 teaching posts for Primary and 8,000 for Secondary Schools.
Here is the Initial Advert for the 12,000 Teacher Internship Vacancies.
“We advise teachers and the general public to ignore a fake jobs advert about 12k intern jobs that are circulating on social media,” wrote TSC through its official Twitter handle.
“TSC will communicate through its official channels when new jobs arise,” ended the TSC Tweet.

According to the source, the above 12,000 teacher interns were to be an economic stimulus from the National Government after the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The source further wanted the applicants for the above advertised TSC Â Internship vacancies to know that the program was a one-year short-term program. And that it is aimed at supporting teacher training institutions to equip and sustain the competencies of new teacher trainees.
