TSC Assures Teachers of March 2020 Salaries, to be Paid in Time
The Teachers Service Commission TSC has today assured Kenyan teachers that they will be paid their March 2020 Salaries in time.
Beatrice Wababu, the Teachers Service Commission head of communications, notified the public via a post on the TSC’s Twitter handle.
TSC March 2020 Salary Being Processed
“March 2020 Salaries are being processed and will be paid in time”, wrote Wababu.
TSC’s March Salary reassurance comes in a time when all teachers are at home following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s order.
The President, on Sunday the 15th March, through a statement, ordered all educational institutions to be closed to help curb the spread of Coronavirus.
To reinforce the President’s orders, the Commission notified teachers to continue staying safe from the Coronavirus.
“TSC encourages all teachers to continue staying safe from Coronavirus by complying with all government directives,” said Wababu.
TSC Suspended All On-going Interviews
On the 15th of March TSC suspended all the on-going interviews at the TSC Headquarters, Regional, and County Offices.
On the following day the Commission issued guidelines on containment of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
On student learning, the government started broadcasting lessons through radio stations, television, and online on youtube.
