Magoha Says He Is Ready to Work in Ruto’s Government
The Cabinet Secretary for Education Prof George Magoha has said that he is ready to work with President-Elect William Samoei Ruto’s government.
Speaking while inspecting the construction of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) classrooms at Karen C Secondary school in Langata located in Nairobi on Tuesday the 6th of September, CS Magoha said that he would like to work with the new regime if he were to be retained in his Ministry.
However, Magoha revealed that he was not seeking for a job in the next regime.
“I am not looking for a job. You can take that to the bank. So nobody should mistake me that I am completing his job in order to be seen that I want a job.
“But in his wisdom, the president-elect thought that I could even be half-worth to be considered, we will have a conversation with him because I have now connected with the poor children. If we think in the same direction and he gives me the support I require, which would mean I do things the way he wants and not any other person. If it is God’s will, I will say yes,” said CS Magoha to Citizen TV.
In a related story, the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife Najib Balala was among the first to congratulate President-Elect William Samoei Ruto after being announced as the winner of the 2022 presidential election.
On Monday the 15th of August, Balala said that Ruto’s will was a manifestation of the will of the people.
“Congratulations on your victory Dr William Ruto, President-Elect, Republic of Kenya, It is by God’s grace and the true will of the people, you were elected President. You have the ability to transform this country for the betterment of all,” said Balala
CS Balala wished Ruto all the best as he prepared to take on the responsibility of leading the country.
“Wishing you the best as you prepare to assume the responsibilities that come with such a high office. Hongera!” added Balala.
