Job Purpose: Responsible to the Principal/CEO for admissions, assessment, examination, and certification processes across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement policies for admissions, assessment, and certification
Oversee trainee application, selection, and admission processes
Manage examination security, academic integrity, and certificate authentication
Coordinate analysis of admission trends to inform recruitment strategies
Oversee processing of academic transcripts and graduation lists

4. Director, Research, Innovation and Extension Services

Job Purpose: Responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing research and innovation policies, standards, procedures, and programmes, including commercialization of innovations.

Eligibility Requirements for All Director Positions

Experience Requirements

Cumulative work experience of fifteen (15) years in a relevant field
At least three (3) years of experience at the grade of Deputy Director or a comparable senior management position

Educational Qualifications

For Positions 1-4 (Technical/Academic Directors):

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Agricultural, etc.), Computer Science/IT, Architecture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, Business Management, Hospitality, Education, Social Sciences, or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution
Master’s Degree in any of the above fields or Curriculum Development

For Position 5 (Corporate Services Director):

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Commerce (Accounting/Finance), Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Social Sciences
Master’s Degree in any of the above disciplines

Additional Mandatory Requirements (All Positions)

Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing (where applicable)
Pedagogy qualification
Registration as a trainer by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA)
Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
Proficiency in computer applications
Demonstrated high degree of professional competence, managerial and administrative capability
