The Selection Panel has officially shortlisted thirty-three (33) candidates to interview for two vacant Member positions at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). The rigorous interview process is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 2nd June, 2026.

Pursuant to Article 237(1)(2)(3) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, and Article 6(6) of the Teachers Service Commission Act (No. 20 of 2012), the panel thoroughly reviewed all eligible applications. High-Profile Names on the Shortlist

The published interview schedule reveals a diverse mix of professionals drawn from various counties across the republic. Notably, former Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary-General Wilson Sossion is among the key figures shortlisted. Representing Bomet County, he is scheduled to face the panel on Thursday, 4th June, 2026, at 9:00 am.

Other prominent figures include Amb. Simon W. Nabukwesi, CBS, scheduled for Wednesday, 3rd June, and Hon. Ahdulaziz Ali Farah. The panel has also demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity, shortlisting several Persons with Disabilities (PWD), including Ali Jimal Ahmed from Wajir, William Emoru Ejore from Turkana, and John Kwemoi Meng’wa from Bungoma.
