TSC Marking Scheme 2021 for the Advertised Replacement Vacancies
The 1,550 advertised vacancies present a chance for registered but unemployed teachers who exited service through natural attrition (1,119 posts for primary schools ad 431 posts for secondary schools).
The Teachers Service Commission has since released a marking scheme to be used during the recruitment.

Awarding of marks based on academic and professional qualifications.
Teachers are awarded marks, here, depending on the strength of their academic grades. The better the grades, the better the score marks. The maximum score for this awarding criteria is 35 marks.

Awarding of marks based on length of stay since qualifying as a teacher
The marking scheme in this area favors teachers who have stayed at home for a long period after qualifying as a teacher. The maximum score for this area is 50%.
The year of completing professional training (PGDE or BED) whose certificate is used for scoring in part A of the score sheet determined the length of stay but not the year of enhancement.

Awarding of marks based on communication and other abilities
This criteria of awarding marks is crucial because many candidates tie on parts A and B. this means that, this part is used to break ties. You need to have better knowledge with TSC and current affairs apart from having a clear understanding of your teaching areas.
At the same time, you must have certification in co-curricular activities to ensure you get the maximum 5 marks in this section. No candidate should score a zero in this aspect.

Teachers who have served as interns before are awarded an extra 10 marks as long as they show evidence of internship service.
