KUCCPS Extends 2021/2022 School/Centre Application Deadline

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has extended the school/center application period till April 16, 2021. This allows schools that have not submitted choices of KCSE candidates to do so before the deadline.

KUCCPS opened its online portal on the 6th of January till the 31st of March 2021 allowing the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates to make applications for degree, diploma, and artisan and craft certificate courses under government sponsorship into universities and other training institutions.

The universities and colleges placement service indicated via a statement from their CEO that the extension was intended to allow schools whose students had not submitted their application to apply for courses they prefer.

“KUCCPS wishes to extend the application period to allow the schools that did not meet the deadline to submit applications for their KCSE candidates indicating the institutions that they wish to join and the courses they would like to pursue,” read a statement from the KUCCPS CEO.

School principals are now required to ensure that all their KCSE examination candidates make their applications for placement and can also contact KUCCPS via their portal.

All principals should download a PDF copy of the application sheet, sign, stamp the completed applications. After that, they can scan and then send the documents to KUCCPS through the email info@kuccps.ac.ke.

KUCCPS center/school application is the first opportunity given to KCSE examination candidates to make their course choices while applying for a placement. They can make their choices for a degree, diploma, craft, and artisan level. The application is done in secondary schools also known as examination centers during the KCSE examination period.

NOTE:
