This Is When KCSE Results Will Be Released
The 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates and parents can now calm their anxiety regarding the release of the KCSE national examinations because the release date has been revealed.
2021 KCSE candidates can expect to have their results by the end of the month.
Examiners have completed the marking of subjects done in the first week of the KCSE timetable. Subjects done in week one are English, Mathematics and Kiswahili papers have been completed. Markers of these examination papers have been released and are or have already travelled home. Many examiners have been reported leaving examination centres.
“Other subjects will be done by the end of this week,” said one of the teachers involved in the marking exercise.
CS Magoha revealed the date for the release of the KCSE examinations while overseeing the progress done in the construction of a Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) classroom.
The University Education PS Simon Nabukwesi revealed that KCSE candidates will have joined classes in June.
On the other hand, those who will be joining colleges and vocational training institutions will join their respective institutions in the month of September.
The students have until April 1 to decide on which courses they will be studying on the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement (KUCCPS) portal.
Parents now have a duration of up to one month to prepare for the expenses that will be incurred in the admission of their children to the respective colleges, vocational training institutions or universities.
The 2021 KCSE may be the last during the Education CS Prof George Magoha’s reign if the next administration will not choose him to continue in his position.
