Ministry of Education Announces New Dates for Form One Admission
The Ministry of Education has announced changes in the date for admission of Form Ones to secondary schools via a circular dated the 27th of April, 2022.

RE: CHANGE OF THE REPORTING DATE FOR 2022 FORM ONE STUDENTS
The Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government has gazette 3rd May, 2022 as a public; which is the date the Form One students were expected to report.
Consequently, it has been decided that the reporting date for Form One students will be from 4th May, 2022
Please ensure that all schools are notified of the change..

The announcement means that all parents as well as last year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) can now relax and make the necessary preparations for Form One admission.
Among the things they need to prepare are shopping for personal items, school fees for the first term, school uniforms, books and other stationery, among other things indicated on the admission letters handed to the 2021 KCPE candidates placed in secondary schools or where they have requested admission.
