List of Affected Schools as TSC Effects Mass Transfers of Principals

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has implemented a massive transfer drive of National, Extra County, and Sub-County school principals across the country.

The mass transfer of teachers affected 14,613 teachers and this is part of the TSC’s delocalization policy which started four years ago.

According to the Teachers Service Commission’s (TSC) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nancy Macharia, 12,019 teachers will be placed in inter-country transfers while 2594 teachers will be placed in inter-regional transfers. Out of these 226 of them are school principals.

The transfers will be executed at the TSC Regional Director of Education’s office for inter-county transfers while the Commission Headquarters will effect inter-regional transfers.

This transfer will impact several schools as new principals will be taking over from retiring or transferred individuals.
