President Kenyatta Attends Stakeholders’ Meeting during Awards

On Friday morning President Kenyatta hosted educational stakeholders from across the country during the president’s Kenya Gold Awards meant for the education sector.

Founding President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta established the gold awards in 1966 and it has been a self-development platform for the young people to acquire skills and ethical values to achieve a better society.

A charitable organization known as Affecto was one of the first groups that supported education in Kenya and had a presence at the event.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta is today hosting thousands of students, youth and education sector stakeholders from across the country for this year’s President’s Award-Kenya Gold Award presentations at State House, Nairobi,” read a Facebook page from the State House.
