2021 KCSE Candidates with C+ and above set to join University under Government Sponsorship

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced via a press release that all the 145,145 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates who scored grade C+ and above will be able to join universities in the coming days.

The process of placing the 2021 KCSE candidates who qualified to join the university will be given opportunities in both public and private universities under Government sponsorship.

On the other hand, those candidates who scored grades between E and C (plain) will be able to join Technical and Vocational Training (TVET) institutions.

However, the placement body has also revealed that it is only those who apply for placement who will be considered for placement.

Parents and students alike have also been made aware that the KUCCPS application portal is set to open come May 2022.

Those candidates who applied for placement while in their secondary schools, they will also have the chance to make the necessary changes once the portal opens come in the next month.
