TSC Advert on Promotion of Primary and Secondary Teachers January 2023

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued the following advertisement regarding the promotion of primary and secondary teachers.

VACANCIES FOR PRINCIPALS, DEPUTY PRINCIPALS, SENIOR MASTERS, SECONDARY TEACHERS, HEAD TEACHERS AND DEPUTY HEAD TEACHERS IN SECONDARY AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS

The Teachers Service Commission is a constitutional Commission established under Article 237 of the Constitution. One of its mandates is to appoint and deploy institutional administrators.

Pursuant to this mandate, the Commission invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for the posts shown below in line with the Teachers Career Progression Guidelines.

Interested candidates who meet the required qualifications, should submit their applications online through the TSC portal – www.teachersonline.go.ke so as to be received on or before 31^st January, 2023. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

For appointment to this grade, a teacher must:-

1. Have served as Senior Principal T-Scale 14 for a minimum of three (3) years;
2. Have satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal and performance contracting process;
3. Have demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers;
4. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and
5. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

For appointment to this grade, a teacher must:-

1. Have served as Senior Principal T-Scale 14 for a minimum of three (3) years;
2. Have at least a Diploma in Special Needs Education ( in the area of specialty indicated);
3. Have satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal and performance contracting process;
4. Have demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers;
5. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and
6. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

For appointment to this grade, a teacher must:-

4. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
