Teacher Clothes Needy Learners after Being Posted To SDA School

0
Needy pupils at Nsoatre SDA Primary School in Bono Region, Ghana, have reason to smile after their new teacher made new school uniforms. When the new teacher Ms. Janet Asibi arrived at the school she noted that some learners attended the school with uniforms that were worn out while others did not wear school uniforms at all. The teachers found a solution to the problem by relying on support from her friends and loved ones to sew new school uniforms. A pair of school uniforms at the moment goes for Ksh. 900 or even less depending on the school. She carries out her project by partnering with another dressmaker whom she pays. This helps her in creating more time for her teaching job. Ms. Janet Asibi’s dream is to clothe more pupils in other schools with students who are also undergoing the same problem. She employs a “One student; One School Uniform” motto. She is hoping that there can be donors who will see her work and come to her rescue so that she can be able to dress needy learners. Related case A Kenyan man also offered to pay school fees for street children after one street child asked him to buy him breakfast. The man who was identified as Mithamo Muchiri asked the young boy to follow him to a nearby restaurant to have breakfast with him. Before the waiter served them the breakfast, the young boy told him that he had a friend he left outside and that he felt he should eat with him. Mr. Muchiri allowed him to get his friend and they then took breakfast together.
