Jalang’o Pledges Four-Year Fees for Form One Boy who Reported with Soap only
The Kenyan Comedian Jalang’o has pledged to pay all the four-year school fees for the form one boy – Levis Otieno Rabar, who reported at Kanga High School with a metal box containing only two bars of Soap.
Photos of Levis Otieno standing next to his almost empty metallic box circulated throughout social media before it caught the eyes of Jalang’o.
Jalang’o (Felix Odiwuor) promised to help the boy complete his high school education.
The Comedian further promised, with the aid of his friends, to facilitate the form one boy (Levis) with the necessary shopping.
In addition to school fees payment, Jalang’o pledged to help Levis Otieno’s mother, who is in extreme poverty.
Levis mother told Ntv reporters that she applied for bursary to help pay for her son’s school fees but was not given.
Levis appealed to any well-wishers through the NTV reporters to be assisted in paying his school fees.
“I am worried that I do not have any option as my parents have not income,” appealed Levis.
Levis Otieno Scored 390 Marks in KCPE 2019
The boy sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education KCPE in 2019 and got 390 marks out of the possible 500.
Levis then secured a form one admission at Kanga High, a national secondary school in Migori County.
Jalang’o is requesting his friends and the general public interested in helping the boy to channel their funds to the School’s pay bill numbers.
The Comedian has promised to visit the boy at Kanga high school to check out if all is well
