TSC Muranga County Director: TPAD Implementation for Term 2 And 3 2021

This is a notice to schools from the TSC County Director of Muranga

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has developed a new Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD).

The new TPAD System shall be open for filling for grades 4, class 8, and form 4 teachers.

Term 2 for all teachers of grades 2, 2, 3, and classes 5,6, 7, and form 1, 2, and 3 shall open from 11/1/2021 to 26/3/2021.

What Head of Institutions must do:

In view of the above, teachers are to do the following:

  1. Create appraisal based on the classes that they teach.
  2. Submit names of schools if they are missing on TPAD.
  3. Ensure that all teachers are mapped in their respective school, zones, and sub-counties.
  4. Submit the list of teachers yet to appear in the TPAD online system (Names, TSC, Station).
  5. All heads of institutions should begin filling PC by developing the OP operational work plan by 11/1/2021. The PC calendar has been uploaded to the TPAD online system.
  6. Generate appraisal reports from the TPAD online system.

SPECIFIC ROLES/RIGHTS OF HEADS IN THE TPAD ONLINE SYSTEM

HEAD OF INSTITUTION

  • The Head of an institution can assign a teacher to be an appraiser and can revoke the rights.
  • Appraising the deputy principal head of institution and teachers.
  • View a teacher’s appraisal
  • Change a teacher to be a deputy head of an institution of head of an institution
  • Canceling appraisal
  • Countersigning deputy heads of an institution of primary schools
  • Can add incoming teachers
  • Undertake weekly lesson attendance
  • Generate various reports.

DEPUTY-HEAD OF INSTITUTION

  • Appraising teachers
  • Undertaking weekly lesson attendance
  • Lesson observation
  • Generate various reports
