The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced that it wishes to recruit teachers to assess the KSCE Oral and practical papers.
This was done via an advert detailing the actual oral examination papers, the requirements for the advertised posts and the procedure to make applications.

KCSE ASSESSORS FOR ORAL AND PRACTICAL PAPERS
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) is a State Corporation established in 1980 under an Act of Parliament, namely The Kenya National Examinations Act Chapter 225A of (1980). The Act was revealed in 2012 and replaced with the Kenya National Examinations Council Act No. 29 of 2012. The Council is mandated to conduct national assessments and examinations at both basic and tertiary levels and certify learners.
KNEC wishes to recruit secondary school teachers as assessors for KCSE oral and practical papers. The selected teachers will be trained on the job during the assessment of the 2021 KCSE candidates.
Teachers who are already in the KNEC database of assessors need not apply.
Applications are invited from all interested and qualified teachers as follows:
1.0 KCSE ORAL AND PRATICAL EXAMINATION PAPERS
Secondary school teachers to be recruited for the following papers:

2.0 REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Qualifying for recruitment
2.1.1 Be a practising teacher in the relevant subjects;
2.1.2 Diploma in Education (and above);
2.1.3 Must have a minimum teaching experience of three (3) years;
2.1.4 Must be registered by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC);
2.1.5 Must be recommended by his/her Head of Institution;
2.1.6 Must NOT be on interdiction or any other form of disciplinary action from the employer;
2.1.7 Must be 50 years of age and below.
3.0 APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applicants will be expected to access the online form using the link; https://cp.knec.ac.ke/assessors, fill in their respective personal details and print the same form. They will further be required to fill in sections 2.0 and 4.0 manually, attach the testimonials listed in the application form and forward them to KNEC so as to reach the Council on or before 30th September 2021.
Only qualified Teachers/Tutors who have presented all the required documents will be shortlisted for the assessment exercise.
