The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has revealed a list of government-approved books that are to be used in junior secondary schools.
Yesterday, the Curriculum Developer revealed a list containing both student and teacher books that are to be used for Grade Seven learners.
The books will be supplied by the government and will bear the usual ‘Not for Sale’ stamp on all printed pages as a security feature to ensure the integrity and retention of the books in schools.
The books are for the 19 subjects in junior secondary. Their prices range between Kes. 276 and Kes 900.
The approved list of books can be viewed on the KICD website link: https://www/kicd.ac.ke.
The following is the list of the books.
