Bomet County Set to Roll out ECDE Milk Program for All ECDE Centres in the County
Bomet County is set to roll out the Early Childhood Education (ECDE) Milk program to all ECDE Centres in the County.
This was revealed via a County Circular with the following content.

RE: ROLL OUT OF ECDE MILK PROGRAM FOR ECDE CENTERS IN BOMET COUNTY
The above matter refers:
The County Government of Bomet, through the ECDE Directorate shall be rolling out a Milk program for School feeding that shall benefit all the children across our 1221 ECDE Centers from the month of February 2022.
The milk shall be supplied by New KCC in packets of 200ml and shall be delivered to ECDE Centers every two weeks for an initial period of four and half months, the Ward Education Coordinators shall manage all the milk in their wards including all associated logistics while our ECDE teachers shall be in charge of Milk consumption and controls in the individual ECDE Centers where our learners are supposed to be issued with a milk packet every Tuesday and Thursday.
The purpose of this communication is to request that you inform the Heads of Primary Schools and Small Homes to be aware of this exercise and to support the program by providing storage space, where necessary, that are secure and rodent free to ensure that our early learners benefits maximally from this arrangement and to oversight on the program in their stations.
