The Curriculum Development Officer, Building Construction will report to the Senior Deputy Director Curriculum Development:

a) Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail the following:

  1. Development of instruments for data collection and mapping out research areas;
  2. Undertaking data collection and analysis;
  3. Preparation of education needs assessment reports;
  4. Analysis of National Examinations;
  5. Conducting activities of subject and Course Panel
  6. Development of relevant and quality curriculum and curriculum support materials;

Requirement for Appointment

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Education Technology-Building Construction option or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  2. Relevant working experience of at least Five (5) years
    Demonstrated professional competence in curriculum development in Building Construction or related areas
  3. Proficient in computer use and application;
  4. Initiative, be a team player and highly motivated;
  5. Coordinate development of teacher training materials and orientation of teachers in Building Construction and
  6. Fulfill the requirement of chapter six of the constitution
  7. Development and review of documents for evaluation and vetting of curriculum support materials.

22. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER PRIMARY, PRE-PRIMARY PSYCHOMOTOR ACTIVITIES KICD GRADE 6, ONE POST

The Curriculum Development officer, Pre-Primary Psychomotor activities will report to the Senior Deputy Director Curriculum Development:

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail the following:

  1. Development of instruments for data collection and mapping out research areas;
  2. Undertaking data collection and analysis;
  3. Preparation of education needs assessment reports; iv. Analysis of National Examinations;
  4. Conducting activities of subject and Course Panel;
  5. Development of relevant and quality curriculum and curriculum support materials;
  6. Coordinate development of teacher training materials and orientation of teachers in Pre-Primary Psychomotor activities and

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Education Pre-Primary Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  2. Relevant working experience of at least Five (5) years

23. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, FILM (VISUAL ARTS)) KICD GRADE 6 ONE (1) POST

The Curriculum Development Officer – Primary, Photography, Video and Film will report to the Senior Deputy Director Curriculum Development:

The Curriculum Development Officer French will report to the Senior Deputy Director Curriculum Development:
