Tom Mboya University Opens Recruitment for Academic and Administrative Roles
Tom Mboya University (TMU) has launched a massive recruitment drive, inviting applications for a wide range of academic and administrative positions. The Homa Bay-based institution is looking to bolster its staff capacity in line with its mission for sustainable innovation enterprise.
The vacancies include high-level academic positions such as Professors, Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers, and Lecturers across various disciplines including Engineering, Health Sciences, and Humanities. Additionally, the university is seeking administrative professionals including a Legal Officer, Assistant Internal Auditor, and Senior Systems Administrator.
Application Deadlines and Requirements
Prospective candidates are required to submit their applications by Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Applications must include a detailed curriculum vitae, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, and a National Identity Card or Passport.
According to the vacancy notice, candidates must submit three hard copies of their application to the Vice-Chancellor’s office in Homa Bay. Simultaneously, scanned colored copies of the same documents should be emailed to recruitment@tmu.ac.ke. Applicants are also expected to ensure that recommendations from at least three referees are sent under separate sealed envelopes before the deadline.
