New 2020 Term Dates for ECDE, PTE, and DTE Teacher Training Colleges, Exam Dates
Here is the 2020 academic calendar with detailed term dates for all the teacher training colleges including the Early childhood Teacher Education ECDE, Primary Teacher Education PTE, Diploma in Teacher Education DTE as officially released by the Ministry of Education.
Early childhood Teacher Education (ECDE) Term Dates
The Certificate and Diploma students in Early Childhood Development Teacher Education will open on Monday the 5th of October 2020, and close on the 24th of October 2020.
Early childhood Teacher Education (ECDE) Examination Dates
Exam dates for the ECDE Teacher Education Students are scheduled to take place from the 20th of October 2020 to the 23rd of October 2020.

The Second Year ECDE Students will on the other hand reopen on the 24th of October 2020 and close on December the 18th of 2020.

Primary Teacher Education (PTE) Term Dates
The Primary Teacher Education final year students will reopen on Monday the 5th of October 2020, and close on the 3rd of December 2020.
Primary Teacher Education (PTE) Examination Dates
Exam dates are scheduled to take place from the 23rd of November 2020 to the 2nd of December 2020.
The above group of students will be in college for exactly 9 weeks before going for their Teaching Practice TP for 1 month when primary schools open.

Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE) Term Dates
The Diploma in Teacher Education DTE 3rd year students will also reopen on Monday the 5th of October 2020, and close on the 16th of October 2020.
Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE) KNEC Examination Dates
Exam dates for the 3rd year DTE students are scheduled to take place from the 13th of October 2020 to the 15th of October 2020.
The above group of students will be in college for exactly 2 weeks before completing their KNEC exams.
