Beacon High School Scholarships Open for Applications

Beacon Scholarships have been opened for applications by 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates.

Up to 6 new Beacon Scholarships are made available every academic year at Beacon Partner Schools. Applicants have to be nominated by their current Head of School and gain an offer of admission to a Beacon Partner School.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible you first register and download a nomination form to be completed and submitted by the Head of their current school.

Applicants are required to demonstrate:

1. Academic excellence
2. Achievement in sport, music or drama
3. Social Influence and Communication
4. Citizenship
5. Be a changemaker

Other factors that are considered include:

• Being between the age of 13 and 18 years.
• Competence in English
• Be a resident in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania or Zambia
• Demonstrate financial need
• Likelihood of the applicant in other areas of school life
• Commitment to contribute to the development of their home country.
