The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has re-advertised vacancies for primary school teachers in the North Easter Region.
The North Eastern Region has been plagued by various challenges including insecurity, inadequate infrastructure and limited resources.
Despite the challenges, the government has been trying to improve the standards of education in the region through the recruitment of teachers and the improvement of infrastructure.
The government has now re-advertised 73 contractual teaching posts in primary schools in the region.
The distribution of the advertised posts is as follows:
- 18 posts in Garissa County;
- 28 posts in Mandera County and
- 27 posts in Wajir County.
