TSC Promotes 16,152 Teachers After Dec, Feb Interviews

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued a press release on Friday 7th May 2021 that it has promoted 16,152 teachers after the December 2020, and February 2021 Promotion interviews.

Dr. Nancy Macharia, the TSC CEO, said through press release “the interviews are part of the final phase of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that has been implemented since 1st July 2017″.

The commission has informed the teachers that following the teacher promotions interview results, those who successfully got promoted will receive their letters of promotion soon.

“Letters on the outcome of the interviews are in the process of being sent to all teachers who were interviewed”, added Dr. Macharia.

Dr. Macharia ended the press release by congratulating, on behalf of the commission, the successful interviewees. She further advised those who were not successful to apply next time when opportunities arise.

 The Teachers Service Commission has promoted 16,152 teachers following successful interviews conducted in December 2020 and February 2021. The interviews are part of the final phase of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that has been implemented since 1st July 2017. Letters on the outcome of the interviews are in the process of being sent to all teachers who were interviewed.

Teachers are cautioned to be wary of fraudsters purporting to have the ability to influence the outcome of the interviews. The Commission will communicate to all teachers who were interviewed through the existing official communication channels.
