The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the opening of test setters and moderators for national examinations within the examination body.
The advertised recruitment drive is intended to add to the team of test development professionals at the Council.
The Examiner had announced via a public notice published on the 23rd of January that they were targeting lecturers in the new recruitment drive.
According to the notice, the council wants to train, certify and recruit teachers, tutors and lecturers to be engaged in the development of examination ad assessment tools for schools and the education of teachers.
To qualify for the advertised positions, the Council has issued requirements that applicants are required to meet.
Applicants are required to be conversant with the designs of the curriculum of the subjects that they wish to apply for.
Applicants are also required to have a minimum of three years of teaching experience.
The applicants are also required to have applied and be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Besides, applicants are also required to hold a certificate of Good Conduct from the police.
The process of applying for the advertised positions will be conducted online with interested candidates required to email the council through td@knec.ac.ke and attach scanned copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and recommendations from the heads of their institutions.

Contracted professionals who are already enrolled with the Commission are not required to apply.
Interested individuals are required to tender their applications by the 1st of March 2023.
