The Kisii Campus Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is one of the 71 KMTC Colleges in Kenya. As stated, the college is located at Kisii Hospital Road and is adjacent to the Kisii County Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisii County. It is headed by Principal Mr. Nathan Masengeli.

Course duration for KMTC Certificate Courses is 2 years with the exception of nursing which takes 2 ½ years. 3 years for the Diploma Courses except Community Health Nursing which lasts 3 ½ years.

Kisii Campus KMTC Minimum Entry Requirements for Certificate, Diploma, and Higher Diploma Courses
The minimum entry requirement for admissions to pursue a KMTC Certificate Course is a minimum aggregate of C- in KCSE. In addition, specific qualifications in cluster subjects will be looked into.
For Diploma Courses: a minimum mean grade of C plain (or its equivalent) in KCSE is mandatory, in addition, a combination of other subjects such as English, Kiswahili, Biology, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Sciences, matters a lot.
Higher Diploma Courses require a minimum of a basic Diploma in relevant fields, and at least a minimum of two years working experience.

Kisii Campus KMTC Clinical Training Stations/Sites
Other than using the Kisii County Referral and Teaching Hospital next to the Campus, students also use Rural Health facilities within and outside Kisii County for their clinical experience. These clinical areas include:
Our students have their skills further developed in various practical areas, majorly the Kisii County Referral and Teaching Hospital. Other county and sub county hospitals within the country also serve this purpose, same as rural demonstration health centres identified.
In order for our students to gain a hands-on experience and specialized placement, the various County Teaching and Referral Hospitals are also used.

Kisii Campus KMTC Clubs and Activities
Students on the campus get involved in Sports, Societies, and Clubs, of their choice. There are numerous activities that a student can indulge in.
Various sporting activities exist in the Campus as well as the infrastructure to support them. These include playing fields for football, volley ball, handball, basketball and netball. The Campus does exceptionally well in indoor games notably table tennis, badminton, chess, darts and scrabble.
