The KCPE 2019 examinations results are officially out. Andy Munyiri tops the list of over one million pupils who sat the same exams.
The 2019 KCPE results were officially released by the Cabinet Secretary of Education Prof. George Magoha at the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) headquarters in Nairobi.
The top student Munyiri, who managed a whopping 440 marks out of the maximum 500, comes from Damacrest School, in Thogoto.
In the second position are three pupils, June Cheptoo , Flavian Onyango, and Michael Ndungu, who tied at 439 marks.
9,770 KCPE 2019 Candidates Score Over 400 Marks
The 2019 KCPE results saw over 9,770 pupils score over 400 marks. This year saw a drop in this number by about 1,789.

The Cabinet Secretary promised that the government will transition all the 1,088,986 KCPE 2019 Candidates to Secondary Schools. And that the students will be placed various secondary schools by 2nd of December.
56 Teachers Under Investigations for 2019 KCPE Exams Malpractices
While addressing the attendants in the official release of the examinations, the head of Teachers Service Commission, Dr. Nancy Macharia, Said that 56 school teachers are under investigations for alleged involvement in Examinations malpractice.
How to Receive KCPE 2019 Exams Results to Phone or Computer
Simply send the candidates KCPE 2019 ‘Index number’ , followed by, followed by the word ‘KCPE’ to 20076.

How to Check the KCPE 2019 Form One 2020 Secondary School Placement / Admissions
Since the Education Cabinet Secretary promised to place all the 2019 KCPE Candidates in Secondary schools by 2nd December, here is the procedure to check the secondary school the candidate has been admitted.
Kindly send a text message with the Candidates index number to 20076 to first check the results, we will then update the sms code appropriately.
