Kakamega County Plegdes to Do This to Slain Harambee and Ingwe Fan

Kakamega County has pledged to clear fees arrears for the children of the slain legendary football fan Isaac Juma.

Isaac Juma who was a fan of AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars was murdered in cold blood in the past week.

Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya promised that his government will clear school fees arrears for Juma’s children. This was the Governor’s entourage met the late Juma’s family members.

The family informed Oparanya about their burial preparations and the budget needed for Juma’s final journey which has been set tentatively on 12th of February 2021 at the Ebuyenjere village in Mumias West Constituency.

Isaac Juma was killed by yet to be identified people who had invaded his home around 9 pm and attacked him leading to his death, It later came to know that it was because of a land dispute.

Governor Oparanya passed his condolences and implored the police to initiate speedy investigations into the incident to bring the culprits to justice. At the moment, one suspect is being held as investigations are going on.

“I have known him for a long time since I was an AFC leopards official. He used to travel to far-flung places to cheer for his teams. He deserves a decent send-off,” said the County Chief.

The Governor slightly gave an indication that former Prime Ministers Right Honorable Raila Odinga and Governor to Nakuru County might attend Juma’s send-off.

The late Juma’s two wives appealed to the government to provide them with security revealing that they were still under threat over the piece of land that they are living on.
