Headteacher interdicted for allegedly posting and spreading through the internet a video clip of her forcing her learners to simulate sex has been given 21 days to respond.
The indecent act simulated, in particular, homosexuality has the young grade two pupils could be seen being forced to carry out the indecent act.
One of the pupils could be seen crying in the viral video.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has given the teacher until the 23rd of February to respond in her defense.
In addition, Evelyne Moraa Orina has also been instructed to physically avail herself to the commission and explain the reason why she should not be dismissed. She is to do this to the nearest TSC Sub-County office where she will be needed to report once every month.
The headteacher was also instructed to vacate her office and stay away for the time she has been interdicted.
In the letter sent by the Commission through the Kisii County Director of Education Mr Pius Ngoma said that Madam Moraa had breached clause (c) (II) of the Third Schedule of the TSC Act No. 20 of 2012.
The teacher is also said to have breached Clause 9 (1) of the Code of Conduct and Ethics for Teachers for exposing the aforementioned learners to indecent sexual acts within the school premises.
On the 1st of February the headteacher is alleged to have forced the Grade Two pupils; Alphonse Obama, WALTER Marumbe, Joash Sandara, Erick Mokua, Lucy Gesare and Peter Makori at Itumbe DOK Primary School, Nyamache Sub-County located in Kisii County to simulate sexual acts. She then recorded the whole event and went ahead to share on social media.
The video circulated online and went viral sparking widespread uproar.
