CS Magoha Releases KCSE 2020 Results, as Kenya High School Tops Nationally

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE 2020 examinations results for 747,161 candidates have been released by the Education CS Prof George Magoha, and Simiyu Robinson Wanjala from Murang’a High School is the top Candidate.

Kenya High School from ——- County has also emerged as the best School nationally in the overall performance.

In the results, Pangani girls had no candidate in the top 10 list of best candidates nationally despite having done so in the last 2 years.

The 2020 KCSE Results saw a total of 893 students score A plains, an increased from 2019 which had only 627.

Prof Magoha thanked the President for availing of the resources to facilitate the entire 2019 examinations exercise.

The following are the top10 Schools in the 2019 KCSE Performance.

  5. Alliance Girls High School 28 A’s
  6. Mary Hill 25 A’s

The 2020 KCSE results were released today at the Kenya National Examinations Council KNEC headquarters in Nairobi, as witnessed by plenty of foreign and local guests.

Among the foreign guests were Examinations Boards representatives from 5 countries, among them Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi.

The following students scored less than 200 marks in KCPE but performed excellently well.

TSC Says No Teacher Was Involved in KCSE 2020 Malpractice

TSC CEO Dr Nancy Macharia said in her speech that the Commission has no data of any teacher involved in examination malpractice.

However, she said as a commission they will act on any report from KNEC if there will be a teacher involved.

A total of  699,745 Candidates sat this year’s 2019 KCSE examinations an increase from 661,114 who sat the same examinations in 2018.
