Agriculture Teachers Invited For Annual Workshop

Agricultures teachers across the country have been invited to the annual Agriculture workshop that will be held at Machakos Boys High School on the 19th of September 2021.

The workshop usually takes place every year and Agriculture teachers meet and share their experiences teaching the subject, and the evaluation and assessment of the KCSE 2020 examination.

The theme that has been installed for the workshop is “Redefining excellent”. Among other issues, Agriculture teachers shall discuss the following issues.

  1. Project assessment and its importance.
  2. Changing of attitude, assessment and evaluation in Agriculture Paper 1 and 2.
  3. The future and the importance of Agriculture to a teacher.
  4. Effective coverage of the syllabus and the motivation of learners.

Teachers attending the workshop shall be required to register by paying a fee of Sh. 2000 to cover for expenses. Among the expenses that will be covered are food, meals, facilitation and certificates.

Every teacher’s presence shall be “highly regarded” if I quote the Agriculture HOS’s announcement.
