“With the charter, today marks further engagement in the community and beyond. We just displayed the charter, logo and seal to officially celebrate the awarding,” added Nyamboga.

Nyamboga also revealed that the institution participated in Corporate Social Responsibility by imparting modern farming skills to members of the surrounding community.

He also revealed that quality and intensive training to students was also provided through reviewing and aligning academic programs to the current world skills demand to make them competitive in the job market.

“Recently, we added three dormitories with a capacity of 160 each. Accommodation is not a challenge to us. We keep on expanding since we have enough land,” said Nyamboga.

The Deputy Governor of Makueni CountyLucy Mulili implored the institution to offer the best to the students who join the university to give them an advantage in the job market.

On his part, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Sylvia Kasanga said that in addition to having sufficient facilities and programs, the institution had a robust mental health program to help the students and the community.
