How to have a Super charged Morning!

Mornings have been known to be the most productive times for all innovative right from Napoleon Hill to Bill Gates

Elon Musk the CEO and innovator of Tesla have attributed his creativity to waking up earlier than anyone.

Waking up as early as 5:00 am not only helps you accomplish a little more than your peers, but it also gives you a leg up the day’s activities.

We love the mornings because they are the most productive time of the day.

However, you need to have a routine that puts you in the mood for the day, something that can jumpstart it and give you focus and momentum to accomplish your daily goals.

Having a good morning ritual is vital to your productivity, which thus begs the question of the things one should do each morning or to put it clearly, What activities will help you to make the most of your day?

Here are 10 simple and easy ideas.

1. Drink a glass of cold water.

You must drink a glass of water, every morning you wake up. Not tea or coffee as you will enjoy those later.

The reason for this is simple, you have been dehydrated for about 8 hours, thus it would not hurt if you just drink one glass of water.

More so a glass of water every morning had more benefits such as it helps you lose some weight, you get firmer skin.

2. Stretch.

Just stretch like a person who is tied and is just creating a circulation of blood to the brain. Just a few slow stretches to work out the kinks, the type athletes or swimmers do before they engage in the activity at hand.

These stretches awaken your brain and also enhance blood circulation in the different body parts, it’s just a simple way to let your body know that it’s time to work and not sleep.

3. Do 10 pushups, or crunches, or squats, or leg lifts

do whatever works for you what is important is moving your body.

This improves blood circulation and increases alertness, which is important in setting a great mood for the day.

4. Write in a journal.

It doesn’t have to be eloquent; however, it must be sincere as it will clear your head of anxiety as you clear your thoughts onto paper.

5. Ponder what you’d like to accomplish that day.

After all, writing is a great way of setting a mood right for the day so write a to-do list and try to visualize it, this will make you feel inspired and optimistic.

6. Practice deep breathing

Put one hand on your chest then put your other hand on your tummy and try to breathe in through your nose just make sure your diaphragm expands rather than your chest.

This will help you relax and calm your nerves, deep breathing also teaches the innate art of patience.

7. Send an encouraging email to someone.

Send a random email to make someone’s day, it will make you feel great for sending it however it’s very important that you keep it short at least two sentences. 

Such messages brighten up dump moods; you can try Google “Sweet morning messages”

8. Watch an inspirational video on YouTube.

For starters, you can Google “short inspirational videos.” And you will find great encouraging videos that you can watch less than 10 minutes, as a matter of fact, most of the clip as between 1 minute to 5 minutes.

9. Listen to your favorite up-tempo song.

When all is said and done its time to get out of your comfort zone and get groovy, just don’t wake up the sleepers yet, in fact, tap your foot and bob your head and dance if you want after all no one’s watching.

It’s at this moment that you may have to check up some trending songs or artist, the songs are limitless and trust us when we say music is a universal language.

10. Make your bed.

It’ll give you a sense of accomplishment. And that’s a terrific way to start the day!

Even science affirms it that, these little things you do set a great precedent for your day. It motivates you to be better, to become something.

Those who lay their bed are more focused and happier than those that get out of bed and run other errands.

As a word of caution, don’t try all the 10 morning routine at once however, try each one for a few days and then note how it makes you feel and if it works for you, keep doing it however if a routine doesn’t work for you, throw it out and move on to the next one.

All in all, whatever you want to become your morning routine should be tailored to YOU and it should fit your mind and body, and help you get what you need to jump start your day.
